When design behemoth LDJ productions approached FiveOHM about providing content for the 30 ft wide LED wall that would act as the backdrop to the 2017 New York Times Dealbook conference, we were thrilled to join forces with worldstage and the folks at Jazz at Lincoln center on such a wealthy mans star studded project. Admittedly LDJ producer “Where”  has some pull with the boss so we knew the pressure was on for this one.

Luke met with Where and the folks at NYT and after a broad series of possibilities faded away we found ourselves in an abstract triangle graphic in need of about 8 hours worth of imperceptible movement to mostly act as a backdrop to the graphic overlays and video interstitials that would populate the wall throughout the conference.

Luke and the creative team rushed to build deliverables before Marketing Director Scott James and Luke went to World Stage where the wall was being prepped and the watch-out machine was in need of our triangles and moving titles.

Dealbook was undergoing a rebranding and the new look would be unveiled through some of the motion of the graphics we were preparing for the screen. Each speaker would get a transition screen brought through what I liked to call the slash and dash.
